Made it Monday Linky #6

Monday already?  This past week has flown by.  I need summer to S-L-O-W down!  I’ve made a few things this week and had a couple of great finds that I will share with you.
I finally (almost) finished my clocks to show the kids what times the most important parts of our day are.  The picture doesn’t show it well, but they say, Lunch time, Special Area, & Recess.  Once I find out what those times will be this year, I will make hands out of black foam and attach with a brad.  If you're wondering, “Where did she get the awesome clock face?” Well, you see, when she went by her classroom to get something, she found that her $5 Wal-Mart clock had fallen off the wall and broken into MANY pieces.  This is a copy of the paper face that was in the now deceased clock.

The second project started with these items-

I borrowed a Cricut from a friend and cut out a little Happy Day thing (I don’t know Cricut language or what in the world happened here…The blade just started tearing it all up!) photo (1)
Finished product & a cute lil’box to store them in!IMG_1933

Dollar Tree-party favor section- can be awards for anything! Just print a strip of paper and wrap it around the base!

Should have said, “cleanest counter award!” Look at that reflection!

Do you like oatmeal? Don’t throw away that container!

The perfect ribbon holder!  An oatmeal container holds 11 spools of ribbon!

I also made quite a dent in my classroom today.  I’ve got a busy July, so I wanted to get some things done early.  Found this book shelf a few weeks ago at Target super cheap. I think it was around $17.

We Mod Podged on some dots cut from scrapbook paper and voila!

Last, but not least, the bag that makes school to home trips so much easier…My Thirty-one Tote!  If you don’t have one of these, you need it!  I put a plastic file holder thingy inside to keep my papers nice and neat.

  3. I didn't realize Oatmeal containers could hold ribbon spools. You can bet I'm going to save that container :) I also made birthday labels to attach to crazy straws. I decorated an old can, but I don't like the way the crazy straws are catching onto eachother once they are inside of it. Do yours get caught up and twisted once they are inside the box?

    1. I'm not sure. As of know, I am the only one who has been in the box. I hadn't thought about what will happen when excited tiny hands go in it....Now I'm worried!
