Freebie Friday!!

I always seem to be a day late, but better late than never, right??  I am linking up with two awesome blogs to share a freebie!  2nd Grade Pad is hosting a linky called-

Here are a few of my favorite free items:
This sequencing activity goes with It Looked Like Spilt Milk.  The students fill in the blanks with actual things from the story, or use it to create their own objects in the sky!  Click {HERE} or the picture to download.  To see my original post on this book and activities on clouds, click {HERE}.
Another popular item in my TpT Shop is my Word of the Day poster.  I enlarged this page  to poster size and change the word every Monday.  Click the image to download.  If you do, please leave me some feedback!

I am linking up with Teaching Blog Addict for the first time to participate in Freebie Friday!  Click the image below to go to the TBA blog to find even more freebies!

Freebie Fridays

My freebie is a little instructional sign I made this week to help my students remember how to use the tape player during Listen to Reading (Daily 5).  I know not all tape players are the same, so if you like this sign, but  the pictures look nothing like your tape player, I would be more than happy to customize it for you.  Just send me the photographs you would like to have and I'll fix you up!

I also created a cover sheet for make up work packets.  Usually, a parent will call during the day and tell me they would like to come by and pick up work their child is missing due to illness, so I made this little sheet to staple to the top of the stack.  Click the image to download from Google Docs.
I hope you have found some of my freebies useful!  If you download any from TpT, I would appreciate some feedback.

I am so excited and even a little nervous about this next announcement- I have been asked to be a guest blogger on Learning 4 Keeps! Leah has asked me to be her guest on September 24th.  I am super excited and flattered, but am having a hard time deciding on a topic!!  I would LOVE it if you would leave me a comment with an idea or two!!  If I choose your idea, I will send you a little prize! :)  Check out Leah's blog at

Enjoy the rest of your weekend!
